  How MSDR Works:
The expressed purpose of MSDR®is to Assess, Report, and Benchmark an individuals' regional functionality on both a clinical and sub-clinical basis.

Distinct from risk-based, actuarial or any forecasting methodologies, MSDR® does not make use of risk calculations or mathematical probability. MedAppraise does not represent MSDR® as a diagnostic or forecasting tool nor suggest that it could be substituted for a physician’s focused exam.

It has been designed to assist clinical examiners and mainly Chiropractors to help identify, communicate and seek early, highly effective treatment at the pre- symptomatic level prior to an individual reaching debilitating levels of pain.

This is accomplished through a focused MSD assessment based on multi-disciplinary research (Chiropractic, Orthopedic, Physical Therapy, Orthopedic and Neurology) which assesses each of the 4 major body regions: Neck, Upper Extremities, Back and Lower Extremities. Each region of the body has it's own quantified functional score. When performed in conjunction with a doctor's clinical examination, the doctor and patient can now track their progress from the acute to sub-acute through corrective care plans, even after the patient's symptoms have dissipated. The MSDR® Scale:

One of the educational attributes for patients who have taken an MSDR® evaluation test is the organization of exam itself and its reports of findings. Each report has been designed to seamlessly integrate with a doctor’s office from front desk communications, to intake form consistency, to the initial Exam reporting, to the patient’s Report of Findings and follow-up evaluations. MSDR® reports are branded with the clinic’s name and customized to each clinic’s “atmosphere” with choices that include several different colors to match the décor of a particular center and provide both consistency and sense of inclusion to the practice.
